Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is an enlarged prostate disease benign or a condition when the cells are present gland has increased proliferation rate. There several treatment options, including conservative (watchful waiting), medical, and surgery. Antibiotics in BPH cases can be prophylactic antibiotics empiric antibiotics. This study was observational study. The samples were patients who received for period January - November 2019. pattern of antibiotic use shows that most ceftriaxone therapy. Operation on TURP which operation classified into surgery with clean-contaminated category so required. two patterns patients: single (88%) combination (12%). combined given to depending complications patient's clinical condition. occur men mostly occurs at age 60-74 years. Prophylactic therapy patients, namely 1 gr IV once daily 48 (90.6%), broad spectrum. Meanwhile, empirical Ceftriaxone twice (35.6%).
